Manage iPod Photos without iTunes

Manage iPod Photos

Add, Transfer, Download, Browse, View, Organize iPod & iPhone Photos, Pictures, Pics, Pix & Images

Adding, browsing or managing iPod photo or videos with iTunes turns out to be a complete nightmare.

How can a company that does so much for computers’ ease of use and user-friendliness and brought some of the most amazing improvements in computer history satisfied itself with such a primitive, complicated, blind and unsafe way to manage iPod photos?

If, like me, you have ever tried to add photos to your iPod or browse your iPod pictures with iTunes, you have probably come to the conclusion that the concept of synchronizing iPod photos with a folder of your computer is much too limited, risky and inconvenient.

Ideally, I should be able to see my iPod pics on my computer screen and add or delete pix individually in a fully WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) way.

Most of all, as iTunes does not allow to move images from iPod to folders of my computer, how can I save photos a friend put on my iPod or the ones I took with my iPhone to my PC, for backup or to edit them with Photoshop?

Looking for an advanced way to transfer and organize my iPod pictures, I searched Google for the alternative ways to manage my iPod photos and albums without iTunes.

  3. I’m with you on this. I just wish they would take all the extra functionality out of iTunes unless it’s related to music. Just make it a nice audio player. I shouldn’t be activating my cellphone, managing photos, or loading email contacts through a piece of software that is also a music library manager, with a name to match. They need a separate iManage application that does all this stuff. Maybe iSync should be revived and expanded or something. But iTunes hasn’t scaled well to handle all these additional functions.
